Surnames: Grohol, Breznicky, Smith, Simon, Wantuch I am looking for any information on the following families : Grohols, Breznicky, Smith, Simon, Wantuch, Reese (Reece).... Grohols: Andrew Grohol and Mary Wantuch settled in Hazelton, PA in the late 1890's to early 1900's, they had 5 children, Michael Grohol is my grandfather, who is desceased, his siblings are: John, Mary, Anna, Andrew, Jr. any information in this regard would be greatly appreciated...I can trace them back to Andrew but that is where i am stuck at the moment.....would like any information about them and their children. Breznicky: Andrew and Julia Breznicky had 9 children....Mary Breznicky was my grandmother who married my grandfather, Michael Grohol on November 16, 1935, Andrew Breznicky married Julia Demshock (Breznicky) and the following children were born....John, Anna, Andy (who was 3 yrs old when he died), Mary (which is my grandmother), Joseph and Andrew, Jr, Helen, Michael, Margie....would like any information regarding Andrew and Julia and their children. Most of the Breznicky's lived in the Hazelton Area. Smith: Joseph H. Smith (b. Abt 1879 and d. Abt 1924) and Mary Druch, they had 12 children together, The children that I have gotten from my mother's cousin are as follows: Warren, Florence, Preston J., Ralph, Viola, Edward Peter, Walter John*, Dorothy, Anna, Charles, Verna, Catherine**. Most of the Smith's lived in the Bethlehem Area. * Walter John Smith married a Dorothy Simon (Abt 1930) and had 8 children...my mother Dawn is 6th Child. ** Catherine Smith was given up for adoption shortly after Joseph's death in 1924. Simon: Reed Simons married a woman by the name of Cora Reese (Reece), they had 8 children together, they are: Mary, Kathryn, Evelyn, Dorothy*, Archabald, Jacob, Gilbert, John A., I know that most of their lives have been spent in the Bethlehem or surrounding communites (Allentown, Easton). * Dorothy Simons married a Walter John Smith (ABT 1930), Dorothy is my grandmother.
