It is the King James version Bible and comes with his dedication. Printed by John Burges, printer to the University, Cambridge. Contains both old and new testaments. All pages present and correct. There are no prints in this Bible, but some very interesting genealogical scribbles: the flysheet is full of family tree information starting in 1777. There are also five separate sheets with family details going right back to 1630. Very interestingly, the family had its origins in Hamburg, Germany (the name is Christoff Ludolff), but they must have come to England in the late 1600s or early 1700s, and when we get up towards the 19th Century they have English names like Heaton and Gaunt.Condition: Not bad internally.
