    3. Bedford County Courthouse is a great place to research. I suggest that you write to the Clerk of the Court and ask if they will send you printouts of the Estates and Deeds for the surname "HALL". From there you can order these documents and learn a great deal about your families. Estates - Wills etc can give you a lot of information. However, the Deed Records are a wonderful source of relationships and information also. When you write, ask for their prices also. The other thing that you can do, if you live near a family history center is to order the microfilm for Bedford County Deed Indexes. The same with Wills & Estates. I print out the Indexes for the surnames I researching, go home and enter them into Excel. I then sort the index by Book and Page number. After that, I order film and am able to copy all the documents that are on each roll of film that pertain to the surname I am researching. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but in reality it save you a lot of time. Good luck. meg charlie wrote: > Am searching info on Jacob Hall b.abt 1810 in Bedford Co.
