I am looking for information on who to contact about children who were sent to foster homes in the 1920's in Philadelphia. I know that one child was sent to the Salvation Army and that the other 2 were sent to live with other families in the Philadelphia area. Does anyone know where these records would be and how I may aquire them? Thanks, Laura

Am looking for any information on the parents of William McLaughlin born in Ohio around 1825. Both of his parents ?? were from PA, then moved to Ohio. All of Williams children were born in Iowa and in the 1980 census William is a widower and had moved to Cedar, Smith, Kansas. William had 7 children, Leonard, George, Charles, Sarah, Marlin,Rosa and Eddy. Any information concerning the parents of William would be greatly appreciated. Sharon McLaughlin
