    1. Re: King search
    2. I found this on Genealogy.coms's data base. Victor A. King found in: Everton's Computized "Roots Cellar", 1640-1990 Family Quiers Event: Born Date: 1827 Locality: Adams State/Locality: Pennsylvania Contact the following researcher for more information Researcher: Ada F. Trecartin Address 1: 97 N Ashwood Ave 503 City: Ventura State: Ca. Zip: 93003 Hope this helps. I looked in on the 1880 census and 1900 census and he was in New Haven, Conn. at that time. You could write for his death cert to get the names of his parents. You can go to this web site to download the forms you will need for Conn. http://www.vitalrec.com On the 1900 New Haven, Conn. census he was 72 and married to Harriet and son George living with him. He was born in Pa as was his father. Mother was born in Mass. Pleasant's in the following counties of PA. Philadelphia, Adams, Lancaster, Montgomery, Juniata, York, Washington, Perry, Northhampton, Westmoreland, Schuylkill, Clearfield, Venango, Northumberland, Berks, Mifflin, Bucks, Lebanon, Tioga, Snyder, Columbia and Wayne. This is per roots web and other research I have done. My gg grandfather, Victor A. King, born 10/8/1827 always referred to his birthplace as Mt. Pleasant PA - it's on all of his paperwork. So, the Mt. Pleasant I'm looking for would have had to have been a significant township. I am looking for his parents. Does anyone have any King birth information around this time of 1827 to share or any sources for look ups - thanks!! Lynda K. Wade lwade@twcny.rr.com Michael J.
