Thankyou again to those who have already helped me. My g grandfather was John Bryning, born in Wolverhampton in 1851. He had a brother, James, and I have in front of me an undated (mid Victorian?) photograph showing James and wife (possibly Belle), sister and her nieces, outside his (James') home in Philadelphia. If anyone can give me more information about any of these people and their descendants (and, indeed their ancestors in England) I should be very interested to hear from them (or, indeed, if anyone can suggest other ways of finding out about them).
