Hi, could someone help me with a record found for a birth/bapt record in York CO, PA? The name of the book that held records of this sort was something like, 10,000 births in PA between certain years. The entry in the book stated, Johan Fredrick Neudoefer son of Jacob and Elizabeth born Oct. 25, 1778. Bapt. Nov. 15, 1778, St. Jacob's (Stone) Union church near Brodbeeks Cordorus twp. York CO. PA, Books Vol. 1of 1,2,3. York CO. PA Church Records of the 18th Century. The father, Jacob, served with the malitia in Augusta CO. VA with Capt. James Bell's CO. They were at the Battle of Yorktown. We are in the process of applying for a headstone to be placed in a cemetery in southern IN where Jacob died. I need a copy of the transcribed entry of Fredrick's birth to send along with other records to the Veterans Administration. Appreciate all help. Gwen
