Hello all researchers. At Mother Cumberland, Reunion 2003, we will be having a MESSAGE BOARD. Anyone is welcome to submit a message to be posted on the message board. We have set aside one entire wall to post these messages from researchers whose ancestors were in Cumberland County, PA or any of the counties who trace their parentage to Cumberland County (over 20 counties were formed from the land that was once either part of Cumberland County or near Cumberland County, PA.) We will post these in the registration area so they will hopefully be seen by most who attend the reunion. This is something different than the Surname Registry, which will be a printed book. If you want to submit a message for the board, please ...... 1. Limit your message about your early Pennsylvania ancestor to one page for each surname or family. 2. Please put either your name and address or e-mail address on the top of the page along with the surname(s)-of-interest. (People will want to know how to reach you.) 3. Please put the surname(s) in bold print or highlight them so that others can easily see which messages pertain to their families. 4. It is fine to submit a family group sheet, pedigree chart, copies of photos, or whatever you think will enable others to "find" you as a "new" cousin. (Please DO NOT submit any originals.) 5. No Message Board entries will be returned to their submitters. They will be donated to the Cumberland County Historical Society following the reunion. 6. There is no cost to submit entries for the Message Board. This is a free service the reunion committee is offering to help as many as possible to find clues to their loved ones who walked this way so long ago. 7. Submissions for the Message Board must be received at the address below by July 1, 2003. 8.
