    2. Thank you everyone for responding. They have explained it now. My only question is why it took them till 5:30pm when it started to clear up to let us know we were to keep small children and older folks inside. Most of us knew better but gee, aren't these people supposed to be on our side? Renee

    2. Does anyone know where the fire is? Is it in Canada or in Pennsylvania? Last night on the news they said it was in Canada. The last rumer I have heard was it was in New York and upper PA. I wonder if something has happened and they are keeping it hushed up. Renee

    1. More 1880 US census look ups? Read Carefully!!
    2. Hi all, Anymore FREE look ups anyone? If I didn't answer your request then you were accidently deleted in the shuffle. Just resend it. If you don't have all the info, send me what you do have and I'll see what I can do. If it's too much then I'll let you know. Please read carefully... 1. Everyone alive, in the US by June 1st, 1880 is indexed. 2. You do not need an exact year of birth, the search allows for a 5 year difference either way. The year of birth could be different with each census. It is hardly ever accurate! The closer the better. 3. You do not have to tell me this but sometimes it lowers the hits if you don't have much info. What is the race? Black, White, Mulatto, Native American or Mexican? 4. Oklahoma Territory is not in the census. 5. Again...unless it's uncommon, I need a first and last name. 6. If you don't have much info then you can try giving me the names of a spouse and/or children that I might find on the 1880 census living with the person you're looking for. What you'll receive from me... 1. The name of the head of household and everyone living in it. 2. The relationship of everyone to the head of household. If the relationship is listed as other, then they are not related. 3. The age, race and sex of everyone. 4. The occupation of everyone. 5. The birth place of everyone and their parents. 6. Microfilm info. There is no limit on how many look ups you can request, I only ask that you limit it to 2 surnames per email. My website is coming back to life slowly but surely. You can check it out now or you can try agin in a day or 2 if it doesn't work. http://members.aol.com/ella12866/index.html Take care, Ella

    1. Re: PETTIGREW
    2. Gagliardi Margaret
    3. Carol, Did you get his death cert? If not, that will tell you where he is buried. It also can tell you where he was born. Sometimes it only says the state and other times it tells county or city. You can even learn more about his parents. You never know what will show up on them. Also, did you get a copy of his obit? If not, again, go after it. Usually you can contact the county library where he lived and/or died to get that. Next would be his RR employment records. The veterans records will also be able to give you more details. Did the Marriage License and Certificate give you details on George's parents. If you don't have that, that is another location - some of the marriage licenses are loaded with details. Good luck. meg rex102@msn.com wrote: > Does anyone have any info on this PETTIGREW family? 1. plea for help
    2. This is a plea for help from any kind soul willing to take pity on me: I have been search for a family from Philadelphia for some time now. I am looking for any records for Angelo AGNELLO and Laura AGNELLO (Dadderio). I know that they were married around 1930 (+ or - 5yrs) because their first child, George Agnello was born in 1933. Their second child, Edward Agnella (end of name changed somehow), was born in 1939. I have his birth cert. Angelo is listed as being 25 in 1939 so I figured he was born in 1914 but I tried to order a birth cert. and I got someone elses back in the mail. I know that in 1939, they were living at 1725 N. 8th Street in Philadelphia. I also know that her son George (who no one speaks to) is still living in Philadelphia on Rhawn street but I can't find a phone listing and don't know the exact address to write him. Angello and Laura divorced and he died quite young around the 1940''s or 50's. I can find no record of his death in SSdeath index. (Is everything not recorded?) Laura died in 1971 in August (I think) but someone searched the Inquirer for me and came up with nothing. At the time of her death she had remarried a Peter Rumbas so I have been looking for her death under Laura Rumbas. Both Peter and Laura are buried in Upper Darby but I don't know which cemetery. I know that it has separate sections for heritage but that's it. I have checked for all of the above mentioned in the SS death index (no luck), the LDS family search site (no luck), and all of the basic genealogy sites (rootsweb, ancestry, genealogy.com, etc.. (no luck) :( I have also had people help me out with census searches and no one could find any Agnello with a son named Angelo. My only hope is that when the 1930 for Pa is done, I can find a family with a son named Angelo. If any one can help me by looking in directories, censuses, or anything I may not have access to that might help, I would greatly appreciate it. My hopes for finding these two is dwindling. thank you very much. Laura Agnella
