An excellent source of information is Early Canadiana Online (http:\www.canadiana.org) It contains scanned pages of many original early Canadian documents. Among them I found this: History of the Eastern Townships, Province of Quebec, Dominion of Canada C. M. Day (Montreal: J. Lovell, 1869) on Page 261 is a list of the founders of Bolton Township, and among the many names are Jeremiah Page, Samuel Page, Benjamin Page and Roger Hibbard. Which brings me to my problem. About 3 years ago Roger Chatell of Rhode Island posted queries about a Benjamin PAGE who was married to Elizabeth HIBBARD and who died in St. Gabriel-de-Brandon in 1860. Being interested in the PAGE surname I wrote him and said I would keep my eyes open for more info on Benjamin Pages. Now I have found Benjamin PAGE and a HIBBARD on the same document, and he has changed his e-mail, so I can not reach him anymore. If anyone out there knows Roger's new e-mail address, please pass this on. If anyone has information about the descendants of any of the PAGE families in Bolton Township, please send that to me.
