Hi cousins, Yesterday I received some marriage back up from a great volunteer in Burt County Nebraska. It shows that Howard Page, age 62 of NY, married Rachel Hamer there in 1889. (First wife, Elizabeth Van Alstine may have died in 1888 - have not verified this date yet.) Best of all it shows his parents names - Abiah Page and Elizabeth Wellis (Willis?). And on the 1855 census from Herkimer County (where Howard, Elizabeth and first children are listed in town of Ohio) there is a Abial and Betsy Page and daughter, Mary living in the town of Newport, Herkimer County. Does this Abial or Abiah fit with anyone else's Page family? (A witness to the wedding is W.S. Page, and I do not think this is one of Howard's children.) Pat MacEachern
