It was about the Duplin Co., NC PAGE family that went to Covington Co., MS. Another good place to look for early records of Duplin Co., NC is the book "The PAGE Family in North Carolina, 1684-1850" by Jesse M. Page, Jr., privately printed, 1987. There are quite a few records of Duplin Co., NC in this book. One record that it has is the marriage of your Joseph & Susan (CONNERLY) PAGE. It also has the marr. bond of another (or 1st marr. for your???) Joseph PAGE to Elizabeth BLAND in 1797. It is interesting that the witness in both marriages was the same man----Wm. DICKSON, who could have just been the clerk of the court as "C.C." is after his name. Dolores
