Hello, I am researching the PAGE family from Ireland who settled in Minto Township, Wellington, Ontario. William PAGE was born in England and went to Ireland where he married Bridget KELLY. They lived in Limerick Ireland and emigrated to Canada in the early 1850's and lived in Minto Township, Ontario. William probably died in Ireland and Bridget came to Canada with her children, Joseph, William, John, Bridget (who was married to James SHANAHAN), and Patrick. The family of Joseph PAGE b. ca. 1811, farmer, married Catherine ?, b. ca. 1826. Their children were Bridget Catherine, b.ca 1853, Joseph F. b. ca 1856, Mary Jane b. ca 1857, Thomas John b. 06 Jan 1859,Margaret Ann, b. ca 1861, Helen C. b. ca. 1865, and Ester C. b. ca 1867. The children were all born in Ontario according to the census. Thomas J.PAGE the son of Joseph and Catherine PAGE married Margaret DANE and later Catherine McGuire. They later lived in Mount Forest, Arthur Twp., Wellington, Ontario and then Goderich Ontario. If you have any information on PAGE families from Ireland, any help would be appreciated.
