For what it might be worth....something to "chew" on.... I have a little more input into a "possibility" for the name of the husband of Mary Ann, b. ca. 1775....but it's just "food-for-thought". I'm wondering if the Jesse PAGE who is in the 1830 Census in Buckingham Co. may have died and Mary Ann was his widow. She shows up in the 1840 Census without a husband for the first time. In checking my readings of the Personal Property Tax Lists for that county, I find that Jesse PAGE was listed there the following years: 1817-1818 1820-1836 and not after that. A Jesse A. PAGE is listed in those lists only in 1848 and 1849, but was not there in either the 1840 or 1850 Censuses. It may be difficult to get further proof of Mary Ann's husband and ancestry because Buckingham Co. is one of what they call the "burned out counties" where many early records are missing. Another Jesse PAGE was listed in the 1830 Fluvanna Co., VA Census. His age was 40-50.
