Although the Personal Property Tax Lists, 1797-1807, were negative for PAGE, the Land Tax Lists of 1800 show: "A" List Edward Page "B" List John Page estate John Page This could mean that these people owned land in Orange Co., but did not reside there. Otherwise their names would have shown up on the Personal Property Tax Lists. Perhaps they were in the other list that I did not check during this time period....I only check Cowherd's list past 1796. Maybe someone else closer to the source would do that for us.
