    1. [PAGE] PAGE - SANBORN Connections

    3. Having posted the following, I decided to look into the SANBORN family of MA. "I have a FEELING that your Jeremiah Page may be the son of the Benjamin Page, b. 1714 who m. Mary SANBORN. That Benjamin had an older brother named Jeremiah Page, b. Sep. 9, 1711. They were both the sons of Samuel and Hannah (Williams) Page. Samuel was b. in Hampton, NH on Mar. 3, 1673, the son of Francis and Martha (Smith) Page. Francis was b. in Ormsby, Norfolk Co., Eng. the son of Robert Page who immigrated with his family from Ormsby, Norfolk Co., Eng. to Salem, MA and then moved to Hampton, NH. [Chart #6 by CN Page, in Jan. 1918]." I found that there were indeed several PAGE-SANBORN marriages that appear to have started with the second marriage of the widow Margaret (Page) Moulton to John SANBORN in 1671. Margaret Page was b. in Ormsby, co., Norfolk, Eng., the daughter of Robert and Lucy (Ward) Page from Ormsby, Norfolk, Eng. to Salem, MA and then Hampton, NH. The New England Historical and Genealogical Register has a two-part article about the SANBORN family in Vol. 10, on pp. 271-280 and 313-321. There are several SANBORN-PAGE marriages in the article, including: Mary Sanborn, b. June 19, 1710 the dau, of Shubael SANBORN (#35), to Benjamin Page (p.277); Lydia SANBORN to John Page of Epping, NH (p. 280); Tabatha Page; Lydia Page; Sarah Page; Other PAGE-SANBORN marriages not noted in the article were: John Page - Sarah Sanborn in 1751; Reuben Page, b. 1763, - Sarah Sanborn in 1788 and lived in New Sharon, ME George W. 1. Re: [PAGE] PAGE - SANBORN Connections : Samuel PAGE m. (1) Hannah WILLIAMS; m. 2nd Anna MARSHALL 18 Nov 1702?

    3. While working with the line of Thomas Page younger brother of Francis Page (as previously given by George W. Page) I encountered the William Prescott work and entered a large amount of it. It is quite possible I mixed things up while transcribing - especially since it was not my main course of research. However I'll throw it out for your consideration. The question is : Was Anna MARSHALL the second wife of Samuel PAGE b. 3 March 1670/71? Hannah Williams d. 24 Dec 1701 per William Prescott, M. D., of Concord, N. H., The Page Family by : William Prescott, M.D., (New England Historic Genealogical Society; NEHG Register, Volume 26, January, 1872), "CD-ROM," Volume 26, Page 77. According to the above source Samuel PAGE and Hannah WILLIAMS had ch. : Hannah d. in infancy in 1696; Samuel d. in infancy in 1698; and Meribah b. 1699 d.?. Hannah (Williams) PAGE d. 24 Dec 1701 and Samuel next m. Anna Marshall 18 Nov 1702. Samuel PAGE and Anna (Marshall) PAGE had ch. : Samuel; Hannah; Prudence; Elizabeth; Benjamin d. young; Soloman; Jeremiah b. 9 Sept 1711; John m. Sarah Sanborn; Benjamin; Stephen; Anna; & Simon. Hoping this doesn't confuse things too much! Bill Harvey [email protected] "George W.
