    1. [PAGE] Jeremiah Page
    2. I have been reading all the latest mail re Page surname and hopefully as it is so active again, someone can help. I am still looking for the birth place and parents of Jeremiah Page, born abt 1736 in England [it is believed]. His father may be Benjamin Page, but this is not proven, most who have done research on him have hit a brick wall on this. Jeremiah was married to Polly Ames and lived in New London, CT, prior to relocating to Columbus, Chenango Co. NY,abt 1797. Any information or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Fred

Thanks Fred Have you tried to contact Jay Allen Peterson, 5120 West Pavant Ave., West Valley City, UT 85120-2826 who submitted info about their family to the LDS Church? He states that Jeremiah Page was b. in Ormsby, Norfolk, Eng., the son of Benjamin Page. I have a FEELING that your Jeremiah Page may be the son of the Benjamin Page, b. 1714 who m. Mary Sanborn. That Benjamin had an older brother named Jeremiah Page, b. Sep. 9, 1711. They were both the sons of Samuel and Hannah (Williams) Page. Samuel was b. in Hampton, NH on Mar. 3, 1673, the son of Francis and Martha (Smith) Page. Francis was b. in Ormsby, Norfolk Co., Eng. the son of Robert Page who immigrated with his family from Ormsby, Norfolk Co., Eng. to Salem, MA and then moved to Hampton, NH. [Chart #6 by CN Page, in Jan. 1918]. George W. Page
