Haston, My PAGE ancestors ended up in Alabama and Texas as well....pre-Civil War. I would like to honor them today by proudly celebrating Martin Luther King Day, and celebrating my PAGE ancestors' participation in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s. I would further like to thank my PAGE ancestors for teaching me that a cause fought valiantly 140 years ago, is not necessarily a cause worth fighting for. It is always best to acknowledge the wrongs of the past, correct them and move on. That is what has made me proud to be a PAGE.
