*OKAY all PAGE FAMILIES!!!! i know that you are sitting on the one piece to my puzzle concerning my gggggrandfather EDWARD D.PAGE he was born 1776 either albemarle county,virginia city of afton or nelson county,city of lovingston.i know that someone out there is sitting on the one piece of information that can break down my brick wall,so,who was edward,s mother??? i can safely rule out LUCY COURSEY.please,please,i,m asking for your help in solving the mystery of my gggggrandfather,s parentage.the fact that he was given the middle name of DILLON could be a clue,could he have possibly been born in south carolina and brought to virginia because his parents could not afford to raise him? i,ve heard some say that robert page&rachel brockman were his true parents.then again i,ve heard some say that james sr.page&lucy norvel were his parents.so which was it?????? i know that in the 1850 census edward d.page was 74 years old.he was living in afton township that borders albemarle&nelson county,virginia.i,m not after any inheritance,all i,m wanting to know is,who were edward,s true parents??????? i know that he died 23/march/1854 i,ve ordered the obituary for that time period on microfilm,it,s going to be a matter of time that i find out what truly happened,either you can tell me or i will find it out via microfilm so which will it be????? i,m also looking for a family bible.please,please,any help you can be in unlocking my brickwall will be appreciated.* * * * thankyou* * gggggranddaughter of EDWARD S.PAGE&BETSY WOOD* * MARRIED 18/MARCH/1805*
