When you see an email from any RootsWeb list that contains nothing but an url (web address), DO NOT CLICK ON THE URL - do NOT go to that website. A legitimate researcher would NOT send a message containing nothing but an url. The "bad" emails come from a valid listmember's e-mail address, which has been "hacked" (stolen) and then used for sending spam or some such. I removed the e-address from this list; because it had been stolen. The listmember will need to get a new e-address, and will need to re-sub with it.
