Abstracts of Wills and Settlements Logan Co, KY" 1856-1874, pg 26; Will Book J, pg 253-254: Will of Ninian Tannehill: To Lucy, wife, daughter of Leonard Page, 3 slaves, homestead farm for lifetime or until remarriage. After wife's death, equal division to the children, to wit, James M., Preston B., and Ninian M. Tannehill, sons, and Margarete E. Hannum, Elizabeth A. Cundiff, Polly E. Blanchard, daughters. Written 7 Jan 1859. Wit,: Elizabeth Hise, Starky Hall, W.D. Fortner. Signature is written. Date of probate: 22 Feb 1864.

    3. Ah--well, I didn't remember a will for Leonard--can't get more explicit than this--I shall certainly add Lucy to Leonard Page's children! But it's dated 1859 so no telling when they were married. Before 1850 is about the best we can currently do. Could certainly have been late and all those children Anna McCurdy's. Given your grandson w/middle name McCurdy it sounds plausible. Perhaps we need to figure out where Lucy was before she married Tannehill?
