I first find him, I believe, in Eire C., PA in the 1830 Census with 2 sons under 5 and both parents 20-30. He next shows up in southern Ohio. Adams and Brown Co. 1830s and 1850s. He died in Livingston Co., IL, 1865. His son George Washington is my g. grandfather b. 1835 OH. Wife in 1850 named Nancy (hard to read). From the probate, wife in 1865 was Eurania.; children listed James, Preston, John, George, Lorenzo, Alonzo, Henry, Archibald, Betsy Ann, Sally Ann. Probate found on Roots Web submitted by Michelle Detwiler. I am composing a message to her. I have info from George W. Page forward. My grandfather stated that one of his ancestors was a Danish sea captain, but I don't know who. A German friend said Page with a German pronunciation was a North German name. One census states his wife was from Denmark. There are many Page families in the 1830 NY census index including an Alonzo in Oneida Co.
