    1. [PAGE] Introduction and Look-up Request
    2. Rick Turner
    3. Hello everyone: My name is Rick Turner, and I am a descendant of John and Mary (Marsh) Page of Haverhill MA. I was wondering if someone on the list who has a copy of "The Family of John Page of Haverhill, Mass.: A Comprehensive Genealogy from 1614 to 1977" could do a quick look-up in the book at their convenience. I do not need particulars on the three individuals. Rather, what I need is the family number to the left of the entry for the following people: Page 56: Daniel Paige, husband of Mary Peaslee Page 90: John Page / Paige, husband of Hannah Page / Paige Page 129: Joshua Paige, husband of Jane Peaslee Any help gratefully appreciated. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Respectfully, Rick Turner Bemidji MN

    1. [PAGE] Page and Haverhill

    3. The recent item mentioning the Page family of Haverhill of Massachusetts caught my eye. My 2 x great grandfather had a brother who was christened Horace Haverhill Page in 1828 (St James, Westminster), and I have always wondered about the significance of his middle name, and whether it might hold a clue to my Page family's origins. I know that Horace Haverhill Page's father was born in Surrey, England but I have been unable to trace Horace's grandfather's origin: Thomas Page, born around 1744. There is certainly no one else in the family with Haverhill as either a forename or a surname. The family has no connection with 'the other Haverhill' in Suffolk, UK. I wonder whether this Thomas Page had relatives in Haverhill Massachusetts, whether he might have been born there and re-migrated to England.
