A Jesse PAGE married a Maria BATCHELOR, unknown location. They had a daughter, Maria PAGE about 1839. This Maria married a Gilbert BUTLER in Christchurch NZ in 1859. I wonder if anyone knows of these people? Max Spiller Bellingen, NSW, Australia
Brad, I also am looking for some Pa(i)ges, however, it is your surname which caught my eye. Do you happen to have a Herman T. (F.) Potts, b. 1832 in your line? I have some Potts who married into my Bacon line and I know of a person in Austrailia who is DESPERATELY trying to add to his knowledge of the Potts family. Let me if you would Please. Thanks a bunch in advance. David C. Wolff dwolffdn@aol.com

Looking for information on Frank/Francis PAGE (b. Jacksonville, AL 1843) of David (b. SC 1790) and Jane (b. SC 1795) PAGE. Frank was the youngest of 12 children: John Robert (b. 1819 SC) Samuel (b. 1821 GA) Rhoda (b. 1827 GA) Milton (b. 1828 GA) James (b. 1831 AL) Margaret Ann (b. 1833 AL) Martha Jane (b. 1837 AL) Hosea and Posey (b. 1838 in AL) Nancy (b. 1843) We believe that Frank may have married twice...with 4-5 children of the first wife (Fanny, Jim, John Franklin, Nora and ???) and 4 from the second (Williamson, Lizzie, Viola and Otto). We have not been able to validate much of this....although I am descended from the John Franklin. We have heard that he may have lived near Boggy Depot, OK; Gainesville, TX; and Hot Springs, AR. He apparently served briefly in the Civil War in the 7th Ark Cav. Anything familiar?? Thanks, Margaret Nixon
I am looking for info on the family of my great-great grandmother Sarah Theresa PAGE--may also be listed as just Theresa PAGE. I have learned that they came to the Messick area of Poquoson,VA from Richmond,VA and it is believed that they are connected to the Mann PAGE family from Gloucester Co,VA. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Time frame for her would have been mid to late 1800's I believe. Thank you, Cindy Fregoe
Haven't posted for a while. My Thomas Page (family notes say) born 13 Sep 1772 in NJ married Sarah Coat b 30 Jan 1774 were married. They moved to Ohio and settled in Clermont Co. I cannot find verification of their birth dates anywhere nor of their marriage nor births of their children who were also supposedly born in NJ. I cannot find parents or siblings for either Thomas or Sarah. It seems that somewhere there was some information for the "family notes" to be so specific on birth dates. Any ideas? Dorothy

Seeking information on PAGE, FINCH,and OLMSTEAD (OLMSTED) and the other names listed.. Francis C. OLMSTEAD and his family are somehow associated with the PAGE and FINCH families. They were in Franklin, Delaware, and Morrow Counties in Ohio and St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan among other places in the 1800s. Elizabeth OLMSTEAD b abt 1822 married a PAGE. In 1896 she was residing near Montpelier, Williams County, OH. She gave an affidavit for Rachel Adelia (Fitz) RANDOLPH OLMSTEAD's pension request. A lot of the family was in Morengo, Morrow County, OH. The OLMSTEADs were also in Connecticut, New Jersey, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, and possibly New York from the 1600s to present. Some other names connected are FITZ RANDOLPH, GAGE, PAGE, JONES, HAWKINS, SCOTT, MOREHOUSE, TAYLOR, WILLIAMS, LLOYD, SMITH, JOHNSON, SPAIN, HOWELL, COOMER, KNOX, PENCE, JOHNSON, HARPER, CRAMER, CASE, PIERCE, NARE, KEYES, PHILLIPS, PALMER, RUSSELL, HALL, BRUNDAGE, BUSH, GILLETTE, KIRWIN, WHIPPLE, BISHOP, BELL, WATT, SHERWOOD, and others. Thank you for any assistance. Shirley Wilcoxon@ix.netcom.com
I am still hoping someone out there knows of the LePage line. The family settled in the Wisconsin/Michigan areas and John LePage married Louise Brunette. Their son John changed the spelling of the name to Page. My grandmother's baptismal certificate from Nadeau MI shows LePage, so the change had to have been made after 1910. Lin Wright ______________ According to info provided by Warren Page Havens <WarrenP@ConnRiver.net> in Family Group Sheets dtd. 10 Mar. 1993, the Thomas Page who m. Sarah Robbins on 8 Sep. 1742 in Walpole, Norfolk Co., MA was born c. 1721 and died 22 Apr. 1786 in Walpole, MA [Source: Headstone]. Based upon his extensive research over many years, he is of the belief that this Thomas Page is of the John Page of Hingham, MA and Haverhill, MA line through the first son, John 2, Jr. of which little is known except the following: John Page, Jr. (John) bp 11 Jul 1641 Hingham, MA d. 27 Jun 1714, bur prob. in Haverhill MA Old "Pantucket" Burial Ground; m. 18 Jun 1663 in Haverhill, MA Sarah Davis (dau. of James & Cicely Davis of Haverhill, MA), d. c. 1739. John took the oath of Freeman (1669) and allegiance (1677). They had a least one child: Sarah Page, b. 7 July 1680, d. before 1739 who m. John Hutchins and had several children and descendants. [See "The Family of John Page of Haverhill, MA," (Higginson, 1878), p. 11.] He believes that John and Sarah (Davis) Page had additional children, and at least a son who was the father of Thomas Page, b.c. 1721. If anyone has more info about descendants of John and Sarah (Davis) Page they should share it by posting it on the Page list. George W. Page

John William Gilton married ________ PAGE and they lived in Selmer, McNairy County, Tennessee in the early 1860s. They had a daughter, Mary Etta, born in 1862 and a daughter, Lucinda Jane, born in 1864. Then the wife apparently died and John William Gilton married Amanda Cates Ryan Fortune in 1865 and they had about 10 more children. Does anyone know anything about John William Gilton's first wife, her family, where she was from, etc.? I have been searching for this information for years and have run out of places to look. Am hoping to find the answer before I leave this planet. :-) Any help will be appreciated. E. J. Wilson
