Hello, I am looking for information on Franklin Page who married Mary Guthery, they should have been from South Carolina. They had a son Andrew P. Page. Mary was a widow living with Andrew in Winston County, Alabama in the 1900 census. It list her age as 63, said she had had 2 children with one living. I found this information on Andrew's death certificate, he died in 1931 in Winston County, Alabama. Family legend says that Andrew's first wife was a Native American, named Little Deer, b. in Alabama, died before 1900. I am just getting started with the research on this surname. Any help would be appreciated. Jimmie Sue
To all "Page" cousins----Thanks to all for the over-whelming response to my inquiry about the Delores Rutherford's 10-part papers. I didn't know I had so many cousins. I now have a copy of this series and look forward to reading all of them and updating my database. Thanks especially to Delores for her fine work. If you are interested, my home-page is at: http://members.aol.com/kjtcet2/scott.htm If you have speakers turn them on. The music may not work on the "Page" family now but will in the future. Wait for the complete file to come up before selecting a family. Charlie Scott, Louisville, KY

The names of their children and descendants are described further in the source book. This family was associated with the Sanderson Family, a member of which was one of the co-authors. I hope this connects with the Page-BEMIS family you are hunting. George W. Page

Have had a block with my PAGE line for years. Earliest one I have is Richard S. Page (1832-1912) born in Sampson County, NC. married a Sarah Elizabeth Bennett (1834-1908) and they had 13 children total. I have a site dedicated to my family lines located at: http://www.mindspring.com/~czar1/surnames.htm Since I am at a block with this PAGE, I do not know their origins other than his parents were also born in NC. Many of his children lived in a close radius of their homestead in Clinton, NC. A couple moved to Charleston, SC area where we lost track of them as well.
