I researching the Page family from TN. They settled in western part of Davidson county, that turned to Cheatham county in 1856. My g-grandfather was Absalom Page m. Mary E. Turner in 1859. They had 10 children, seven boys and 3 girls. I have info on my g-grandfather, his twim brother and one other brother. I do know that 2 sisters were still living in 1914 when one brother passed away. One was a Mansfield, and the other married P. M. Buell of Chicago. I also have 2 other brothers names, Mach or Mack, and Jefferson Green Page. I have a lot of names for Pages but do not know who they belong to or who the parents are. My counties in TN are Cheatham, Montgomery and Davidson Co. Hi My PAGE line came from NY state in 1847 to IL. But, the father died before 1850. There were five kids who were orphaned out. I found one in Stark Co. and one in Rock Island Co IL. So three are missing. I think that the missing ones are two boys and one girl, and I think that the girl's name is Ann PAGE. In 1875 the oldest boy and the youngest migrated to KS. Settled in Council Grove, KS . Now the names: The oldest was Heman Page or H. Page. The youngest was Freman Page. The father was Heman, or William, or Wilson or ??? something that begins with a W or an H. The mother was reportedly Ann Rice. She may have died before the family reached IL. A name on a death Cert. is all that I have for her. In 1875 the two boys and their families headed west to WA. They traveled by Wagon train and I can only assume that there may have been other PAGE's with them. I have reason to believe that the three others have to be in that area of IL which would include: Knox co, IL, Stark Co, Rock Island, Co, Henry Co., and Warren Co. IL. I am trying to find info about any Page family who may have lived in these 4 or 5 Counties of IL. If you have any info about PAGE's living in that area of IL, in the late 1840's and 1850's, I would appreciate the info. Patterson 18 I found Joseph L. with the same family profile as the 1850, on the 1840 census in Warren County, PA. Sometimes I have Joseph as being born in NY and other times in PA. Thomas and siblings all born in PA.

My ggggrandfather was John Page, born in 1771. John moved to Berkshire County, MA and married Lillis _______. They are both buried at a hill on West Road overlooking Clarksburg in Berkshire County. Their daughter, Lydia (b. 1803), is in my direct line through the Hathaways to the Cook(e)s. John take the census taker in 1840 that he was born in Rhode Island, but I have searched Arnold's Records for information on him in vain. Can anyone help me find out more about him?

Hello, Andrew N. Page b. 10/Jan/1856 in Clay County, Alabama d. 3/Mar/1931 Haleyville, Winston County, Alabama Andrew's death certificate says that his father's name was Franklin Page,b. SC and his mother was Mary Guthery b. Georgia. On the 1900 census, Winston Co. AL. Andrew is a widower with 4 children and his mother Mary A. is living in his household. Andrew list his parents place of birth as Georgia. In 1880 Clay County, Al. census list Mary A. Page with two sons James B. F. Page ca. 1855 b. Georgia and Andrew and she is listed as a widow. James m. Sarah Browning d/o J. M. Browning in Clay Co. on 23/Dec/1880 and Andrew m. Pennsula Jones, d/o of James J. and Dilla Jones on 15/Jan/1885 in Clay Co. I have found a couple of Franklin's in Georgia, but so far I have been unable to connect with any of them. And if he really came from South Carolina, I haven't connected with any of the Page families there either. The only reference I have that says his name was Franklin is Andrew's death certificate, information given by Andrew's son Zelf, and my husband remembers Zelf as " being a little strange", so his name may not be Franklin. My great grandfather was Levy Lyman Page of IA, OH, IL b 1830 Norwalk, OH, married Amanda Ewing in Iowa City 1854, they both died in LeMars, IA in 1903. They went to Chicago after the fire ca 1873, then back to Iowa. They had four children, Arthur Elmer, Burton Edgar, Wm or James Harry, and Della (married a Roseberry in LeMars, Iowa. Burton E. died a hero in the Chicago Cold Storage Bldg fire in 1893, Della married a lawyer, Harry went to Colorado and my grandfather, Arther was the family blacksheep who abandoned his family in Frederic, Wis. in 1905, the family never heard from him again. He was a wanderer, always looking to make his fortune somewhere else. If he did he didn't share it with the family. Belonged to the Modern Woodmen of America. Would love to correspond with anyone who is a descendant of the other children on this line. The Charles Nash Page book on the Page Family Genealogy traces this family back to the emigrant, John Page and Phoebe Paine of Essex, England in 1630. Regarding the roll call. I am descended from John PAGE b. bet 1705-1710 and d. 1800 in North Caolina. He was married to Hannah ? who died bet 1800-02 in North Carolina.
