He married Catherine Stanford on 8 Jan 1815at St Margaret, Rochester, Kent.   this edward page listed above may and i say may be my edward page,if this is so he could not have been born in england.and he was not born 1786,he was born 1776 right here in america in virginia.and edward page would not be in the "I"group.   anyone,s thoughts on this!

    1. [PAGE] someone is sitting on important information that could break down my brick wall
    2. carla page
    3. someone out there in one of the various "page families"is sitting on very important information that could break down my brick wall concerning edward d.page and who his parents were.it is just very convenient that the death records microfilm is missing from the virginia state archives,i,ve looked at it back in 1987,it stated who his parents were,i could kick myself now for not copying the information on that microfilm.now the archives claims the microfilm is missing.i do remember it stated that my ggggrandfather william edmond page was the informant for my gggggrandfathers death.i am looking for births possibly for orange county, virginia and albemarle county, virginia for edward d.page.according to the pagey-dna rex terry page my cousin is an exact match to one or even several of the page men in the exolheath page family.that means that our gggggrandfather had to have been a son to one of exolheath,s brothers, possibly jacob page or john page.if you have information that can help me find the parents of edward d.page born 1776 in possibly orange county,or albemarle counties in virginia, please send me copies of what you have.i am willing to share any of what i have.                           thankyou in advance                  gggggranddaughter of edward d.page&betsey wood

    3. At least we are getting away from so many Johns, Williams and Davids. My grandfather, Charles Page had the right idea when he named some of his sons Arzie, Armal, and Radie - that will make it easier for genealogical researchers in the future - not much chance of two Pages in the same region at the same time with any of those names. 3. I must have missed an earlier message - to which Ron Page are you referring? My husband has only a 12-marker result from Oxford. Is it that Ron? Mary-Gene Page California ----- Original Message ----- From: "Courtney Milburn" <cjmilburn06@hotmail.com> To: <page@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, July 26, 2009 11:01 AM Subject: [PAGE] John Page b. abt. 1756 d. 1804 SC family connections I believe according to Ron Page's DNA test we are from Family line H. Ron is my dad's first cousin. I am new to the DNA thing, but I have been researching our family for 14 years. Being a female I am using Ron's DNA to help with the Page research. I know for a fact with research and DNA to back me up that we descend from John Page b. abt. 1756 d. 7 Mar 1804 in SC and his wife Anne b. abt. 1750 d. Jul 1832 Bibb Co, AL. John's son William Page b. 1777 NC d. 1852 Hurricane Mills, Humphreys Co, TN was my gggggrandfather. His wife was Nancy (possibly Foster) b. 1787 VA d. aft. 1860 Humphreys CO, TN. I am looking for any information to help me get back further or fix information I have that is false. I research any connecting Page line. So I am interested in any pictures, stories, facts, etc. My main focus is on finding the ancestors of my John Page. Can anyone help? Here is my line of Page's 1. 3. Just because you haven't yet found your common male Page ancestor, doesn't mean you are "not related by blood" because that's exactly what it means! WRONG! You are indeed related by blood and cousins who share a common male Page ancestor. The hard part is tracing your ancestry accurately back far enough to cross the ancestral line of one of your other cousins in the same Page Family Line P.

    3. i have copies of the family bible for james sr.page&lucy norvell and edward d.page is not listed as a son.i also have copies of page family bibles for other page families and edward is not listed in any of them.i have tentavely ruled out joseph page&lucy corsey or coursey as his parents as they married in 1796,edward d.page was born 1776,joseph and lucy married way too late.i,ve even went to the university of charlottesville to their archives and checked the rosewell page family bibles and family trees,he is not listed in their family either.however, governer john page spent alot of time in charlottesville,i can even find where he spent some time in nelson county, virginia.i also found out that john page had an estate in albemarle county,i don,t think anyone knows about this exclusive family estate.i found it by doing a property check for albemarle county, virginia.john page was in washington county, virginia in 1810.there is a "page estate"there too.   http://books.google.com/books?id=DSUSAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA248&lpg=PA248&dq=%22john+page%22washington+county,virginia&source=bl&ots=MkTWqrBf3r&sig=uLl7QYEHDfVcQUwiF9XNFKkTl70&hl=en&ei=OKptSuL8KJeltgfk34CJDA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3   Pg.101/Ln.1070/ Adam Dorsey, age 23y, colored, farmer, of Alexandria VA, s/o Moses & Matilda Dorsey; Letty Clark, age 19y, colored, d/o William & Violet Clark; June 13 1872 by Rev.
