    1. [PAFRANKL] Two cemetery questions
    2. Willie Walter
    3. Greetings! Well, my head is spinning from everything I found this weekend. I didn't get to visit nearly as many places as I'd hoped, but since I'm not far from Franklin County, there will be plenty of other visits. I was very impressed with the resources in the Alexander Hamilton Library's Pennsylvania Room. I spent about 1-1/2 hours there on Friday and 5-6 more there on Saturday. I could've easily spent 2-3 more days there. I spent a few minutes on the computer, browsing through Mr. Barnhart's cemetery index. Thanks to you and the others who put all the work into that, Joe! Two questions: 1--I think I found my g-g grandparents, listed in "Fairfield Union." Can anyone tell me specifically where that is? 2--Are there plans to update the database, and if so, may I contribute some information? For example, I noticed that my Walter grandparents and great-grandparents weren't listed. They're all at Green Hill in Waynesboro, along with a few of their children. The stones are all still in good condition and legible, so I'm guessing that their particular section of the cemetery hasn't been transcribed. (With the size of Green Hill, it's not surprising--transcribing the whole place would be a daunting task!) I'm happy to pass on what I have...just need to know where to send it. Thanks! Peace, Willie

    3. Hi Willie and all Sorry I missed you. My wife and I were on duty at The Waynesboro Historical Society, last minute change of plans. Question 1 Fairfield is over the Mountian (Blue Ridge Summit) on route 16 and then at the foot of the mountian you double back toward Gettysburg and Fairfield is about 3 to 4 miles. (see Attachment) Question 2 I am already updating my list but GreenHill is being done by someone else and they are only to the M's so far. If you want to send the info in an e-mail its [email protected] Joe Barnhart Willie Walter wrote: >Greetings! > >Well, my head is spinning from everything I found this weekend. 3. Hello Willie & All : I hope they update the database and perhaps correct the many mistakes in it ! It don't take a Rocket Sciencetist to find the mistakes ! Perhaps , In a few years they'll get a rough idea how to record TRUE information ! Glenn E.
