I have just subscribed to the list and was wondering if anyone could add to my research of the George Harden family.  Here is what I have: George HARDEN b abt. 1800 in MDor PA d aft. 1880 +Margaret Newmire b 1803  d abt. 1850 m Sept. 15, 1823 in Allegany Co., MD Children: John b. 1828 d abt. 1905 m Caroline Winebrenner Anna Mary b 1835 m Jeremiah Beeghley John and Caroline were my gr-gr grandparents My gr-grandmother was Margaret Ellen Harden b 1852.  She married  Hanson Porter in Allegany Co. I am trying to find the parents of George HARDEN.  It has been suggested that his father may have been Savil HARDEN of PA.  Does anyone know if Savil HARDEN had a son named George that was born about 1800? Any HARDEN information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Phyllis
