My 3rd-great-grandfather was named Peter Barnhart TAYLOR and he died in Lack Twp., Juniata Co. in 1895 and was to have been born in July 1810 in Amberson Valley, Franklin Co.. The first time I find him on the Tax Lists was in 1840 and he was in Fannett Twp., Franklin Co.. My questions..... 1. Does anyone know who his parents are? 2. Was his mother's maiden name BARNHART??? 3. Was there a doctor or a church official/pastor by the last name of BARNHART in the area when Peter was born - that Peter's parents would have named him after???????
