There is another issue to aware of when taking an image from Ancestry.com. There is a user license for using the site. The user license is a contract between you and Ancestry. This contract trumps copyright law.... It dictates what you can and cannot do with the site's content, even public-domain images. When you sign up for Ancestry, the contract is executed when you make payment. You may want to take a look at the user agreement.... This also applies to sites that are free such as may be the case when using Heritage Quest through your public library. Thanks!
