I hadn't stumbled across that list yet. My Knepper line goes back to one of the families who emigrated with Alexander Mack, one of the founders of the Brethren church in the US. My ancestors didn't move further than Franklin County, though. :-) I think I found another line on the same ship that brought Mack and his group to the US, so there may be more of a Brethren connection there. I don't have any proof that they were part of Mack's group, but it's probably a safe bet. Thanks again for the link! Peace, Willie
