Not finding any Weaver , there are lots of Illegible . This might have been the McCune Family Cemetery before the Church was there , about 40% of the names are McCune . Then there is also just those who were buried with only initials , like JBS, HB , GB etc, etc, etc. Kathy --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Hi Kathy: What cemetery is this for as I have McCunes in Franklin County. My problem is there are so many of them with the same names. My McCunes married into the Maclay and Culbertson families. Most interested in this cemetery since you said about 40% are McCunes. Hi Gail I see you mentioned you have McClay family members from Franklin Co, PA. My gggrandfather, William Jacob McClay listed his birth location as Greencastle. I do not know that for certain just that his family came from PA. He was born about 1855. His father was William (H) McClay who married Ann Seavolt. His sister Mary Elizabeth was born 1854 in PA. I think the elder William was in Mercerberg, Montgomery, Franklin Co, PA on the 1850 census. If that is him he was in the household of Ruhammah Barnhart, female, age 34; also, there was a Mary McClay age 23, and Joseph McClay age 22 who was an apprentice potter. I hope some of this sounds familiar as this is another of my brickwalls. Best Regard, Nance --------------------------------- Stay in the know. Pulse on the new Yahoo.com. Check it out.
