    3. Here is my Derr/Darr line: Christian DERR (1745/48-1824) + Magdalena SMELCHER/SCHMELTZER (d. 1818) Henry DARR (1774-1850?)+ Mary DULL (1789-1847) Christian DARR (1806-1884) + Anna O. (Nancy) ABRAM (1810-1894) Mary Ann DARR (1828-before 1891) + Samuel BERKHEIMER (1820-1892) Sarah Emery BERKHEIMER (1856-1947) + John F. BOWSER (1858-1917) I think your Joseph Derr would be a contemporary of Henry Darr. Henry did have a brother Joseph, but he was the youngest and still at home in 1824 when his father Christian died. Could your Joseph be an uncle of Henry, in other words, be a brother of Christian, Adam, and Henry who I have discovered so far? They all used the same names so this gets confusing. As far as the Monn history at Hamilton Memorial Free Library in Waynesboro, thanks for the lead, Glenn. I will try to get there on one of my annual Penna. trips. I don't suppose they have volunteers to look things up for me, or will do an interlibrary loan? Lora, did you recognize any of the Monn names in my last email? Are they in the book you wrote?
