Are there Presbyterian Church records that go back as far as the 1790s? I am looking for a 1791 death record for William Stitt who was said to have died in Franklin County PA in 1791. There are no probate or will records. I think that he would have been Presbyterian, as he was said to have immigrated from Northern Ireland and had Scots ancestors. Lee Anne
