Just FYI, in case other folks have the same problem that I did. I wasn't able to connect properly using Gordon's link. It displayed a blank page with a menu bar on the side but the links don't work. However, there is a message at the bottom of that page saying "Whoops - page doesn't exit" and it directs you to click on a link to the "home page". So I did and that worked. Once you get to the home page, click on "History" on the menu bar that's across the top of the page. On the next page, click on "Lisburn Historical Society" on the menu bar down the left side. On the next page, you will see another menu bar down the left side. Near the bottom of that menu bar is the link to the "Huguenots of Lisburn". That's it. There is a great deal of historical info on this site, including some about the development of the linen industry there. Very interesting! I read every page. Thanks, Gordon. You always give us such great resources. Here's the "home page" link that will get you started if Gordon's link doesn't work for you either. http://www.lisburn.com/index.html Tink At 06:18 AM 5/17/09, Gordon Crooks wrote: >This URL will take you a web site which contains a great deal of >information on the Huguenots, many who settled in Franklin Co. and >who were also Ulsterscots.
