Folks: I now have a complete copy of the 1777 deed for Slate Hill Cemetery, the original is lodged in Carlisle Court House. What I need is help in locating the CURRENT HOLDER of the deed which I presume must be in the Franklin Co. courthouse. Can anyone offer any help here? I live 80 some miles away in Maryland. If that is the same graveyard, Reverend King's grave is gone and Archibald Irwin (Grandfather to a First Lady of the United States) is also gone. It is a crime.
