    3. Hi Gordon, Your copyright on your book belongs to you regardless whether you ever have registered your work. That is federal law. Technically people need to ask your permission to copy any parts of it, other than brief citations. In all cases, they must give the correct attribution, citing you as the author, with the Title, date of publication, publisher, and the city & state location of publisher.
