    3. Hi Judy: Thanks for the reply! Someone answered me and said that they thought it may mean "State Appropriated Burial". This sounds more logical than my idea of "State Approved Burial". The man in question was quite old when he died and was or seemed to be very poor. He was married to a girl about 30 years his junior and she had several very young children to tend to - so I presume that the State "footed" the bill for his burial - but if we only knew where he was buried??!!!
