Folks, If you request a lookup from this Hist. Soc. or from any organization, please make sure you include a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelop) with your request. I talked with the Pres. of the Hist. Soc. and she said they are receiving numerous requests for lookups that do not include a SASE -- without a SASE there is NO lookup -- Also consider that this Hist. Soc. receives several hundred lookup requests each year and presently they have, at most, 3 volunteers available to research these requests -- so be specific in your request as to what info you are seeking - And make sure you include your SASE ---- And for those who are planning to visit the Hist.
