Tonight is the Grand Opening of the Mid-Atlantic Roots Network at: http://midatlantic.rootsweb.com/ As part of the Grand Opening the FamilyHart online database was updated today. The FamilyHart database contains over 205,000 linked names of people from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina and other locations. Many of the new additions for this update come from Washington, Frederick and Garrett counties in Maryland; from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia; from the southern counties of Pennsylvania; from Davidson, Iredell, Lincoln, and Gaston counties of North Carolina and from West Virginia. There are many new Sturm, Hollinger, Glatffelder, Rhyne, Kauffman, and other family descendants added. Many Brethren and Mennonite names have been added with this update.
