His first wife was a "Miss Ray", md. in 1808. Very shortly after that, they moved to Mt. Pleasant. William's mother was Elizabeth Irwin, md. unknown. Elizabeth's parents were William and Martha Irwin. William Irwin's will shows this information. Ted
