    1. [PAFRANKL] Re: [PACUMBER-L] SEES, PRITZ, WATSON
    2. Kathy, In my line of THOMSON, I have two 3rd Gr aunts, Margaret THOMSON ( 1759 -- 1829) and Barbara THOMSON ( 1761 -- ?), who both married WATSONs. Margaret to Andrew WATSON ( 1755 -- 1823), and Barbara to William WATSON ( 1761 -- ?). Margaret, the 7th child, and Barbara, the 8th child, were daus. of Alexander THOMSON ( 1722 -- 1800) and Elizabeth EDMONSTONE (1728 --1815), both from county of Renfrew Scotland, emigrating to America 1771 >Cumberland/Franklin Co., PA 1772, Corkerhill/Scotland, PA. Alexander and Elizabeth are buried in the Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church/Cemetery, Letterkenny, PA. Margaret and Barbara were also born in Scotland, county of Renfrew, and emigrated with their parents. This information taken from a compilation/44 pp. typescript, titled <<"FAMILY AND DESCENDANTS OF ALEXANDER AND ELIZABETH THOMSON" by Andrew Watson Pentland, abt. 1902-1903>>. In this family history there is a mention of a James WATSON, child #2, of a Robert WATSON ( 1728?, Scotland) and a Margaret WATSON, but from what I can surmise this family lived in Scotland. Robert, b. 1728? and the father of the above named Andrew and William, one Andrew WATSON b. 1731? in Paisley Scotland were brothers. I am willing to share what I have about Andrew and William WATSON, and would like to hear back from you about this. Both of these men married daughters of my ancestor, Christopher SEIZE, SEES, SEAS, SEASE. SEESE, SEISE, CEAS, CEASE, SUSS, CEES -- and any other similar variant spellings. George PRITZ married Margaret Catherine SEISS and James WATSON married Sevana (Sarah) SEISS, both before 25 March 1779. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
