There is currently in the planning stages the formation of a GIFT Family Association for the descendants of Mathias GIFT. We know there are quite a number of descendants still in the Franklin County area and a great many more who have spread out all over this grand country. So if anyone knows of a person who is a descendant of Mathias Gift who settled in the Grindstone Hill and Guilford Twp area of Franklin County, please ask them to contact me. We are now at the stage where we have sent out a questionnaire to determine when the best time for our first family reunion should be held and what the descendants of "Old Mathias" would like to see happen at such a gathering. If anyone is interested they can get a questionnaire from me and return it by Nov. 15 so we can go through them and determine what out next move will be. Janet
