An historian of the stripe of Harry E. Foreman would be a tall order. All of his books on the area are noteworthy. W.W. Britten wrote an exceedingly helpful little history of Upper Strasburg, using the notes of his father (?) grandfather (?)--don't have it in front of me right now--but he died a few years ago.
