I Am looking for possible relatives to Peter Musselman who arrived in Washington Co., Md. about 1800, it is believed there are Franklin Co. Musselman connections. Gordon Crooks
>From the book "Marriages and Deaths From the Newspapers of Allegany and Washington Counties, Maryland" by F. Edward Wright Maryland Advocate, 20 May 1826 Equity case - Christian MUSSELMAN & others vs. Jacob MUSSELMAN & others - to obtain decree for the sale of real estate of which Christian MUSSELMAN, late of Allegany Co., died seized or possessed, in 1824, intestate, leaving children, heirs at law: Christian, Elizabeth wife of Joseph HORB, Anna wife of John PLOCHER, Jacob, Susannah with of Henry ARTHUR, Fanny wife of George HANSEL, and John, who, after the decease of his father, died intestate, leaving Christiana his widow and the following children: John, Susannah, Elizabeth, Daniel and Andrew. Susannah MUSSELMAN is the widow of Christian MUSSELMAN. Susannah, John, Elizabeth, Daniel, and Andrew, children of said John MUSSELMAN, are under the age of 21. Said minors and Christiana MUSSELMAN, widow of John MUSSELMAN, and Henry, Arthur, and Susannah, his wife, do not reside within the state of Md. I realize there is no mention of Peter Musselman, but the article contained so much information, I thought it was worth posting to the list.
