I wanted to thank you all (again) for your responses and help. I wanted you all to know that I received some excellent help from this list! One person pointed me to MENNO-ROOTS-L, which I have since subscribed to. Others offered wonderful help and suggestions. I met someone who's family also went from Franklin County to Whiteside County! Finally, one Angel even found both branches of my family in Franklin County in the 1860's! Armed with all the new information and ideas I've received from the listmembers, I'm now ready to fully begin my search in Franklin County. Thank you, Krista
