This is my first time to post a request on this list. I am looking for information on the surnames of GILVIN, GELVIN. I have found both names in records from Franklin County. I need help making the next connection back for Hugh Gilvin / Gelvin b. 1785 PA. The first time he is listed in Kentucky is the 1820 census. Hugh has been my brick wall for a long time and I would like to find his father and mother some day. Thanks Dan
