Since I received this, I feel I should probably explain why I am concerned about this possibility and have copied the correspondence that I sent back to a fellow lister. If you read up on some of the histories of some of the Nation's Western towns and villages you will find that many were settled and established by Pennsylvanians. These Pennsylvanians were encouraged to leave their hometowns and relatives here and "go west" to establish "colonies" there. Also if there is a possibility of the Vital Records closing in that or any other state... then sooner or later it may "come to" your state or mine, Pennsylvania. Best Wishes on your family quest...
