It's a fascinating subject--it's been calculated that the number of our ancestors, using your method, would far exceed the number of people alive on this planet at a given time. Solution? Many of the people in your tree are the same people filling duplicate relationships. There was more intermarriage and convoluted branches than any reasonable person would expect! Carol
